Additional Fees or Requirements:

Fundraising

In addition to the above fees, two post-dated fundraising cheques in the amount of $100 each will be collected from each member family. These cheques will not be cashed and will be returned upon meeting your fundraising requirements which includes volunteer participation at the Eagle Classic Track & Field Meet (Saturday, May 12th, 2012) and the purchase of two tickets to the annual GEA Pub Night (Saturday, April 28th, 2012).

Fundraising is a major part of the club’s ability to run programming and is essential to keeping our registration fees down. Upon application to join, participation in the club’s fundraising is acknowledged. If you wish to be a non-participant in these fundraising efforts, please indicate this on your registration and a $200 additional charge will be applied to your fees in lieu of this participation requirement.

Leisure Services User Fee

In addition to the above fees, each registered member of GEA is required to pay an additional $15 sport field user fee. A new bylaw was adopted by Council to take effect on January 1, 2012 that requires all sport field users to contribute funds for each of its members/players towards a capital sport field fund. In the case of Golden Ears Athletics, this amount is equal to $15 per registered member (taxes included). For more information, please click here.
