Currently completing a Masters degree program at the University of Oregon (Researching long-term athlete development)

Career Highlights:

  • 1985 - Won the BC High School Cross Country Championships while in grade 11.
  • 1986 - Won the US High School Indoor Championships 3000m.
  • 1987 - Broke the BC Junior records in 1500m, 3000m & 5000m.
  • 1987 - Canadian National Junior Team member.
  • 1987 - Awarded BC Athletics Outstanding Junior Athlete of the year.
  • 1987 - Ranked 9th in the World for Juniors in the 1500m.
  • 1988 - NAIA Cross Country All-American...

  • NCCP Level 04 - (Middle Distance Specialist) - starting Level 05 certification.
  • Athletics Canada - Head Distance Clinician: 1999/2000/2001 National Legion Camps
