Rick Lloyd has been a coach for the Golden Ears Athletics team for the past 4 years. His focus is in the jumps area and has his level 2 jumps technical certification. He is also a coach for the Pitt Meadows Soccer Association coaching a variety of age groups over the past 10 years. Rick also spent a number of years playing touch football where his team attended and won the Canadian Championships in Ottawa and Saskatoon . As an avid soccer player he has been playing at various levels over the last 40 years. Since returning to Track and Field he has competed in the BC Masters Championships since 2001. He has had 1st place finishes in both the Triple and Long Jump on and off, up to and including 2005. In 2003 he competed in the Canadian Masters Track and Field Championships, finishing 2nd in the Triple Jump and 3rd in the Long Jump. His 2005 season was capped off with participation in the World Masters Games in Edmonton where he finished 11th in both the Long and Triple Jump against an international field that included Hungary , Slovakia , Poland , Armenia , USA and Mexico .
